the owner
George Azar, better known as “DJ Zar”, is a music producer, audio engineer, DJ & video editor from Scarborough, Ontario. Upon receiving his Audio Engineering & DJ Arts Diploma from Trebas Institute, DJ Zar began freelancing as a beatmaker, audio engineer and a DJ. With over 20 years of musical experience & nearly a decade of experience in music production & DJing, DJ Zar is dedicated to bringing the best out of his artists, having worked with artists spanning several different genres.
DJ Zar is a co-host of “WeLoveHipHop” and the founder and host of “The Borough Sound”, a podcast whose clips have amassed millions of views across social media platforms. With 3 years of video editing experience, DJ Zar knows how to edit content for optimal social media impact.
